TREND MODE OF ARTIST 2012: MAC Fall Colour: Wild Colour Eye Shadows Dupes & Comparisons

While the MAC Fall Colour: Wild Colour eye shadows are fairly unique in terms of colour, they did strike me as possibly dupeable. Below are my attempts to dupe them. All phtotos taken without flash on NC 40-45 skin.

Left to right: MAC Blue Candy, MAC Zingy and NARS Liquid Sky

Of the three, MAC`s Blue Candy and Zingy (LE) are the closest, with Zingy being a hair more teal than Blue Candy. Zingy is also a pure matte and does not have the small fine white shimmer that Blue Candy does. NARS Liquid Sky (which has been discontinued) is darker and warmer than Blue Candy, as it leans more towards the violet end of the colour spectrum.

MAC Three Ring Yellow and MAC Rated R

Three Ring Yellow is a shade lighter than Rated R (LE, Starflash), less chartreuse and more yellow. Three Ring Yellow and Rated R (LE, Starflash) are very similar in terms of texture and finish.
